About Pylon
At Pylon, we're building the future of B2B Post Sales.
We’re building the all-in-one B2B post-sales support platform powered by conversational data and layered with intelligence to help our customers run their operations in real-time. We’re backed by YCombinator, General Catalyst, and a16z. Pylon is a tool that thousands of users spend most of their day in.
Currently, 500+ companies including Linear, Cognition (makers of Devin), Modal Labs, and Incident.io use us everyday to run their support and customer success workflows. Also, we recently made this year's Enterprise Tech 30 List.
Our product has a very large problem space so there’s a ton of stuff to build and take ownership of - we’d be excited to get your help as we're hiring several extremely talented software engineers across the stack.
Why It's a Rocketship
Why It's a Rocketship
Pylon is building the first customer support platform designed specifically for B2B companies, replacing a patchwork of tools like Zendesk, Gainsight, chat widgets, and point AI solutions with a unified, AI-powered system of record. Unlike B2C-focused incumbents, Pylon is optimized for knowledge-driven workflows, account-level data, and the cross-functional collaboration required to manage complex customer relationships. Its platform already includes ticketing, chat, knowledge base, AI support, Slack/Teams integrations, automations, and developer tools, all tightly integrated into a single pane of glass. For fast-growing B2B companies, this consolidation is not just a convenience, it is a necessity to scale post-sales relationships without losing efficiency or responsiveness.
The market response has been strong. In less than two years, Pylon has scaled from a handful of early adopters to more than 250 customers, including high-growth names like Deel, Hightouch, Anyscale, Lumos, and Sardine. The company recently raised a $17 million Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz with participation from General Catalyst, Y Combinator, and others, bringing total funding to $20 million. Founders Marty Kausas, Robert Eng, and Advith Chelikani have shown exceptional product velocity, rapidly expanding Pylon from an omnichannel monitor into a full-stack B2B support platform. With strong investor backing, a growing roster of high-quality customers, and a clear gap left by consumer-focused incumbents, Pylon is positioned to become the default operating system for B2B customer experience.
