Decagon is building AI-native customer support infrastructure, replacing static chatbots and manual workflows with agents that can autonomously resolve complex issues. These agents are trained on a company’s product documentation, policies, and historical conversations, and are capable of handling full support tickets with minimal human involvement. The company is focused on high-ROI automation, and its early customer set reflects that, including Notion, Rippling, Duolingo, Eventbrite, Substack, and Hertz.

In 2024, Decagon grew from approximately $1 million to $10 million in ARR, with enterprise adoption driving a 10x increase in monthly support volume. Customers report cost reductions of up to 95% per conversation and cite transparency and agent performance as key differentiators. The product is extensible across multiple customer-facing functions, and the company is already expanding from support into success, onboarding, and sales. Founders Jesse Zhang and Ashwin Sreenivas are second-time operators with strong technical and product instincts.
